Under Bright Lights Blog Rebrand
Music has always been a passion, especially finding new music to fall in love with and sharing that music with my friends. Thus my music blog, Under Bright Lights, was born.
My goal at the time was simply to get the blog up and running. I had yet to discover my passion for graphic design so I slapped together something quick and moved forward to the actual reviewing.
The goal of the new logo was to bring the 'bright lights' to the logo but still keep the music tone. The result was achieved by drawing inspiration from the filament of old light bulbs mixed with a recognizable musical artifact.
I was first drawn to the head of a guitar but during my research, I found that guitar picks had a unique and recognizable shape that also looked a bit like a light bulb.
